Condo and apartment painting in Toronto
Condo and apartment painting is run around the building: elevator booked, work hours kept, low-VOC paint on the walls and the suite handed back on the date. Full interior repaints, century trim and doors, and kitchen cabinet refinishing lead the Toronto work, with condo repaints before move-in close behind.
Concept imageryToronto, on the ground.
Toronto's stock runs from century brick semis with plaster walls and heavy painted trim to level drywall condo suites downtown with builder flat paint. Newer towers bring open layouts, floor-to-ceiling glass, concrete ceilings and builder flat paint, and older low-rise apartments bring plaster, radiators and more trim. A downtown job means either a booked service elevator and a certificate of insurance for the building, or a narrow front hall, street parking and a crew that works around a family living in the house. The crew works to the elevator window, covers floors and furniture, fills and sands, rolls two coats with hand-cut edges at glass and concrete and removes debris through the service corridor.
Painting in Toronto usually starts with an older wall that has cracked and been patched before, so the quote is built on prep rather than on colour.

No figures published. The drivers, in order.
| Driver | What we look at |
|---|---|
| Suite size and layout | A one-bedroom with an open living area paints quickly. A three-bedroom with a den, two bathrooms and long hallways takes longer. |
| Ceiling type | Smooth drywall ceilings roll normally. Exposed concrete, stipple or very tall ceilings take more care and more time. |
| Occupied or empty | An empty suite between tenants is the fastest version of this job. A furnished one adds moving and covering in each room. |
| Building access | Elevator windows, parking and work hours decide how many hours the crew can paint in a day, and therefore how many days the job takes. |
The building sets the rhythm. Once we know the elevator window and the hours, the day count on the quote is firm, and the paint line matters less than most people expect.
Condo and apartment painting questions from Toronto
Do you paint condos in Toronto before move-in?
Yes. Painting an empty Toronto suite between closing and move-in is the fastest way to do it. We book the elevator for the days between and have it done before the movers arrive.
What does my Toronto building need from you?
Usually an elevator booking, a certificate of insurance and WSIB clearance, and sometimes a deposit for the elevator pads. We supply the paperwork for Toronto buildings [John confirms] and keep to their work hours.
The plaster in my Toronto semi keeps cracking along the same lines. Will paint hide that?
Paint alone will not. Hairline cracks in plaster move with the house, so the crew opens each one, fills it with a flexible compound, embeds mesh tape where the crack is long, then sands and primes before colour goes on. That treatment holds far longer than a skim of filler under paint, and it is written into the quote as prep so you can see it.
Can you paint my downtown condo, and what does the building need from you?
Yes. Condo work is drywall, level ceilings and a lot of builder flat paint, so the prep is light and the job moves quickly. The building sets the rules: [typical move-in hours, elevator booking and a certificate of insurance filed with the property manager]. We confirm those with the manager before the date is fixed, and the crew carries everything in on protected floors.
