Condo and apartment painting in Vaughan
Vaughan is mostly recent builds and tear-down rebuilds through Woodbridge, Maple and Kleinburg with tall ceilings, heavy trim and builder flat paint, plus older postwar plaster houses in Thornhill. Newer towers bring open layouts, floor-to-ceiling glass, concrete ceilings and builder flat paint, and older low-rise apartments bring plaster, radiators and more trim. Condo and apartment painting is run around the building: elevator booked, work hours kept, low-VOC paint on the walls and the suite handed back on the date.
Concept imageryVaughan, on the ground.
First repaints over builder paint, sprayed trim and coffered ceilings, feature walls, cabinet refinishing and stucco exteriors lead the Vaughan work. The crew works to the elevator window, covers floors and furniture, fills and sands, rolls two coats with hand-cut edges at glass and concrete and removes debris through the service corridor.
A new house in Vaughan carries more trim than wall, so the quote is usually decided by the millwork and the spray setup rather than the square footage.

No figures published. The drivers, in order.
| Driver | What we look at |
|---|---|
| Suite size and layout | A one-bedroom with an open living area paints quickly. A three-bedroom with a den, two bathrooms and long hallways takes longer. |
| Ceiling type | Smooth drywall ceilings roll normally. Exposed concrete, stipple or very tall ceilings take more care and more time. |
| Occupied or empty | An empty suite between tenants is the fastest version of this job. A furnished one adds moving and covering in each room. |
| Building access | Elevator windows, parking and work hours decide how many hours the crew can paint in a day, and therefore how many days the job takes. |
The building sets the rhythm. Once we know the elevator window and the hours, the day count on the quote is firm, and the paint line matters less than most people expect.
Condo and apartment painting questions from Vaughan
Do you paint condos in Vaughan before move-in?
Yes. Painting an empty Vaughan suite between closing and move-in is the fastest way to do it. We book the elevator for the days between and have it done before the movers arrive.
What does my Vaughan building need from you?
Usually an elevator booking, a certificate of insurance and WSIB clearance, and sometimes a deposit for the elevator pads. We supply the paperwork for Vaughan buildings [John confirms] and keep to their work hours.
Our exterior is stucco over foam. Can it be painted, and with what?
Yes. Acrylic stucco is washed, hairline cracks and impact damage are repaired with a matching stucco patch, and the surface gets two coats of an elastomeric or high-build acrylic coating that bridges small cracks and sheds water. The colour change is the easy part. The repairs are what the quote is built on. Exterior stucco work is booked for the warmer months and dry weather.
The builder sprayed our whole house in one colour, ceilings included. Can you give us separate wall and ceiling colours?
Yes, and that is the usual first repaint in a new Vaughan house. The ceilings get a flat ceiling white, the walls a primer and two coats of the colour you choose, and the line between them is cut by hand so it is straight even where the drywall corner is not. It changes the whole house more than any furniture purchase, because builder monotone flattens every room.
